Our mission is to provide risk management tools to agriculture.  

AGRO Insurance, LLC was formed by Ronald Mortensen. Mortensen also founded Advantage Agricultural Strategies, Ltd. in 1985 to help farmers and ranchers manage risk. AGRO is a natural extensions of the mission of Advantage Ag Strategies and our marketing advisory work. We have had extensive experience with LGM for Hogs and Cattle. Our understanding of the livestock and grain markets help us to advise customers on the appropriate levels and timing of the LGM purchases. Our research includes an extensive database of historical Gross Margins for the livestock industry.  

Mortensen has a B.S. from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa and a MBA from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
